It's official that D-Mac won't be the #1 pick (not that we really had much doubt for a while): sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft08/news/story?id=3358424The Miami Dolphins were grinning Tuesday, too. They signed the Michigan left tackle (Jake Long) to a five-year, $57.75 million contract with $30 million guaranteed, and they'll select him with the top pick in the draft Saturday.- Bert

The Raiders are discussing moving down from the No. 4 spot in the draft.
"More than ever, not in Raider fashion, we may trade back," coach Lane Kiffin said. "And that stems from the lack of picks and not having a fifth, a third or a second." Kiffin added that the team has had "serious" discussions with a number of teams interested in the fourth pick.
YES!! Clear out Raiders, D-Mac to the Jets!!

The Sacramento Bee is hearing that Darren McFadden "is or should be" the Raiders' pick at No. 4 overall.
Just about every Oakland beat writer has been pushing for the Raiders to go defense with their first-round pick, but Al Davis doesn't listen to that. Coach Lane Kiffin also wants defense. We know Davis doesn't listen to him.

talking about him on ESPN. All the analysts said "off the field issues" were not a big deal and that he was a solid kid. Not a high risk pick. Keyshawn said they were saying all that stuff about him too.
