I'd rather see Darren go to a team with a winning tradition as of late, instead of a team condemned to medirocity, like the Dolphins, Oakland, or Atlanta. In the age of free agency, huge contracts, and the self promotion, the Patriots are an example of people dedicated to winning. Love them or hate 'em, they're a great team. (The Jets started the spying last year, the Pats were simply following the leader - its always the second person who gets caught right?)

Committed to winning at any cost, whether that be the players health, or the integrity of the game, winning is the only thing that matters to them.
And just because the Jets cheat, doesn't make it right for you to cheat, and then give us that B.S. about interpreting the rules, don't insult my intelligence.
I hate their quarterback as a person, I hate their coach because of the people he has spawned (Saban, Weis), and I hate that they gave Randy Moss what he wanted, he didn't deserve a 15th chance. T.O. may run his mouth, but he always played hard, Moss can't say that.

Didn't someone once say, "Winning isn't everything, its the only thing" and "You play to win the game"? You don't go out there, half-ass it and say well we tried hard but just didn't get it done. Thats okay, maybe next week we'll win. Maybe thats what Petrino ought to say to our team next year, and we'll be ok and cool because we are likeable people and lose.
"All we need is love"

A coin flip will determine picks three through five in the 2008 NFL Draft, according to Adam Schefter of the NFL Network.
Four teams finished 4-12 (Atlanta, the Jets, Kansas City, and Oakland). The Jets had the strongest strength of schedule, so they'll pick sixth. The Falcons, Raiders, and Chiefs had identical SOS. The Falcons and Chiefs will flip first because Oakland's division record was better than Kansas City's. If the Raiders lose the toss, the order will be Atlanta-Oakland-K.C. If the Raiders win, they'll go third and the Falcons and Chiefs will flip to determine who picks fourth. The Dolphins and Rams pick 1-2, respectively.

A league source tells the Boston Herald that the Dolphins' new front office is "intrigued" by Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan.
The last time Bill Parcells had the No. 1 pick, he used it on Drew Bledsoe and turned the Patriots around. Of teams in the top ten, only K.C., Baltimore, and Atlanta need QBs, so Miami could try to move down a few spots with a team interested in Arkansas RB Darren McFadden or LSU DT Glenn Dorsey.

Arkansas RB Darren McFadden will forgo his senior season and enter the 2008 NFL Draft.
As long as he stays out of piano bars between now and late April, McFadden should have no trouble being a top three pick. Although Miami could pass on him at No. 1, it would probably be hard for St. Louis to do the same at No. 2 with Steven Jackson entering a contract season in 2008. A coin flip will determine who picks third between the Falcons and Raiders.

Maybe he needs to go to a few piano bars, just so he can slip below the Rams, Falcons and Raiders

From RotoWorld -
Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland says the team is "open for business" when it comes to the No. 1 overall pick in the draft
"Rome wasn't built in a day, and this won't be built in a day either," Ireland said. "The No. 1 pick is no different from the 22nd pick. You've got to make the right selection. You just can't miss on it. We'll listen to all offers."

Maybe it's a covert message, who has the 22nd pick?

Falcons named Mike Mularkey offensive coordinator.
At least this staff will have some NFL experience. Mularkey isn't a sexy hire, but he's been a decent head coach and ran solid offenses in Pittsburgh and for one of his Buffalo seasons. His play calling can be frustrating, but he's mostly favored a power run scheme and likes using trick plays. Atlanta holds the No. 3 overall pick in April, and TD-tossing Arkansas running back Darren McFadden will likely intrigue him.
