I really don't remember. I know that we split with Katy when he was junior and James was a senior. I know that James pitched both, and I seem to recall that they started different pitchers against us, but don't know which one he started.

Seibert goes 1-2-3 in the 1st. 3 groundouts..they said he topped out at 86 BUT his pitches had great movement

He's scheduled to start Monday, so I bet that's why he only went one inning. Brewster is right in the thick of things for the playoffs. It's great to see Shaun doing so well. I'm looking for this experience to lead to big things in 2007.

All-Star Game A Letdown In Cape Cod Use of position players on mound frustrates throng of scouts www.baseballamerica.com/today/college/news/262079.html"I've never seen anything like it, and I think I can speak for the other scouts that we're all very disappointed," one veteran scouting director said in sentiments echoed by at least three of his colleagues who spoke to Baseball America. "The clubs take scouting the Cape Cod League very seriously, and you can see all the scouts who are here and are leaving early. "And this is your first time to the Cape?" the scout asked this reporter, who replied in the affirmative. "Well I'm terribly sorry to hear that, because this is about as bad as I've seen it for an all-star game. The league is probably going to hear about this from the clubs."

Well, the streak had to come to an end sometime.
Shaun improved to 6-0 last night. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, walked 5 and struck out 3.
Shaun still leads the Cape in ERA (0.39) and wins.

He's still walking people, but I don't mind if he can keep that .39 ERA

We'll have to hope our defense improves enough to help him.

In one of the articles he said that his walks were up b/c he was pitching around/away from people since everyone could hit.
He also mentioned that he was letting the players but the ball in play more.

great read. “Seibert has always been a competitive guy, but what he lacked in the early part of the season was confidence,” he said. “In the beginning of the season he would over look his stuff and not believe he had it in him. Seibert is at his best when he is aggressive, [but] in the middle innings he would lose some of his aggressiveness, making him not as effective. He has a good live fastball and is able to use both sides of the plate.”

I don't know for sure, but I'd expect Shaun to start game one for Brewster. He is the game one starter. What a great summer for him!

Man I feel really good about our pitching next year, hopefully we bring the bats and gloves to go along with it.
