Wow, Seibert is now 4-0!
Last night - 6 innings, 2 hits, 0 runs, 3 walks, 5 strikeouts.
For the season - 35 innings, 0 earned runs, 30 strikeouts.
He's the only pitcher in the cape that hasn't allowed an earned run and he's tied for the league lead in wins.

Way to go Shaun! Seibert arms Whitecaps"Bourne struggled mightily against Seibert, who is in the running for the triple crown. The right-hander is tied for the league lead with four wins, holds a league-best 0.00 ERA through 35 innings, and is near the top with 30 strikeouts."

The Cape Cod League announces its All-Star teams tomorrow. Seibert should be a lock to make the East squad. (Any other Hogs ever made it?) Shaun is scheduled to pitch tomorrow 7 PM eastern. The games can be heard on streaming audio if you want to listen. LinkClick on the box with "CCBL - Click to listen" on it.

I know Rodney Nye (Harwich) was an All-Star in 98, but I don't have a whole lot of info on the Cape. Here are some more notes of interest: Kirk Piskor (Yarmouth-Dennis - 1990) - Cape Cod Playoff MVP Billy Dees (Cotuit Kettleers - 1981) - team MVP

Seibert was named the East squad starter for Saturday's Cape Cod League All-Star game. Way to go, Shaun.
The teams will be recognized at Fenway Park on Aug 3 during the Red Sox game, which is on one of the ESPN channels. (One thing is certain, Harold Reynolds will not be doing the game. ;D)

Congrats to Shaun! This will be a great experience for him and I'm sure he'll represent the UA well.

Seibert wins again!
He's no 5-0 after going 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 unearned runs, walking 3 and strikeing out 3.

I've thought the same thing over the years with DVH. I would like to have heard what DVH said when he read that
