Joe Johnson notched 34 points, seven rebounds and six assists in Sunday's 118-114 loss to the Suns. He hit 15-of-27 shots with two three-pointers.
Johnson had been in a bit of a scoring funk recently, averaging 13.3 points over his last three games. He was also shooting just 38 percent heading into Sunday, but it appears that he is rounding into form now.

Joe Johnson backed up a solid game against the Nets on Tuesday with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers on 8-of-16 shooting in an easy win over the Wizards on Thursday.
He's been a nice buy-low guy given his recent struggles, but appears to be over a sore left hand and on his way back to fantasy prominence. We'd recommend acquiring JJ right now, as his value probably won't be much lower than it has been over the last couple weeks.

Joe Johnson is likely to miss four to six weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow, according to Hawks public relations czar Arthur Triche.
Triche's tweet says he "could" miss four to six weeks, but also says that the surgery will be performed by Dr. James Andrews. Mo Evans will likely become the new starting shooting guard, while Jamal and Jordan Crawford are also going to see a boost. Expect Johnson back in action some time around mid-January

Joe Johnson was a surprise starter for the Hawks on Friday, returning several weeks early from elbow surgery.
It was his shooting elbow, yet he managed to finish with 16 points, five rebounds, eight assists, a steal and a three in Friday's win. He hit just 5-of-14 shots, but no one saw his early return coming. Get him back in your lineup ASAP.

Joe Johnson had 28 points and five 3-pointers as the Hawks beat the Jazz in Utah on Wednesday, winning their third straight game and fifth of their last six.
The Hawks are hot and Johnson has now scored 28, 29 and 29 points in his last three games. He was struggling early in the season, but is on fire right now. The Hawks are remarkably 9-3 this season in the second game of back-to-back contests, and have won six straight in those scenarios.

Joe Johnson scored a season-high 36 points on 16-of-27 shooting (1-of-7 from downtown) with five rebounds, six assists, and a steal in the Hawks' 100-98 win over the Kings on Monday.
J.J. has turned his season around and suddenly looks like the pick everybody thought they were getting. Congratulations are in order if you bought low. Not to be outdone, Al Horford added 23 points, nine boards, six assists, and a career-high seven blocks, while Josh Smith added 19 points, 10 boards, four assists, two blocks, and a steal.

Joe Johnson hit 15-of-21 shots and five 3-pointers on his way to 37 points and eight assists in Wednesday's win over the Raptors.
He struggled in his last game but played like an All-Star tonight, as owners celebrate the fact this game wasn't postponed. The Raptors had trouble getting to Atlanta, but made it. Al Horford just missed his first triple-double with 12 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in the win.

Participants in the 2012 3-point shooting contest include James Jones, Joe Johnson, Kevin Love, Mario Chalmers, Ryan Anderson and Anthony Morrow.
Bizarrely, none of the league's top-five 3-point shooters (by percentage) made the cut -- Brandon Rush (a league-best 55 percent), Mike Miller, Klay Thompson, Ray Allen and Steve Novak.

An MRI on Joe Johnson's knee showed no structural damage, confirming the original diagnosis of tendonitis.
Johnson will miss the All-Star Game, but it's good news for his second-half outlook that the injury isn't anything serious. The Hawks are planning to re-evaluate him prior to their first game after the break next week. Willie Green is slated to start in his place on Wednesday night.
