Doesn't seem to work for the moment; is the overwhelming traffic from this board too much for their server?

unfortunately if memory serves me correctly, when players start winning these awards it usually mean this is what they are getting instead of the Heisman. I may be wrong but when I see players win the maxwell and walter camp it tells me that someone else is going to win the big one.

According to wikepedia here are the years it differed Walter Camp winner 2003 Larry Fitzgerald (Heisman runner up to Jason White) 2002 Larry Johnson (Carson Palmer wins Heisman) 2000 Josh Heupel (Heisman Runner up to Chris Wienke) 1990 Rocket Ismail (Heisman Runner up to Ty Detmer) 1989 Anthony Thompson RB Indiana (Heisman Runner Up to Andre Ware) 1980 Hugh Green DE Pitt (Heisman Runner up to George Rogers) 1977 Ken MacAfee TE Notre Dame (Heisman went to Earl campbell) 1967 OJ Simpson (Heisman Runner up to Gary Beban UCLA QB) first year listed
Thus the Walter camp award has lead to the Heisman 32/40 or 75% of the time.

Since 1967, only 8 winners of the Walter Camp Award have not went on to win the Heisman:
1967 OJ Simpson - Heisman went to Gary Beban - Simpson was 2nd. 1977 Ken MacAfee - Heisman went to Earl Campbell - Terry Miller was 2nd. 1980 Hugh Green - Heisman went to George Rogers - Green was 2nd. 1989 Anthony Thompson - Heisman went to Andre Ware - Thompson was 2nd. 1990 Raghib Ismail - Heisman went to Ty Detmer - Ismail was 2nd. 2000 Josh Heupel - Heisman went to Chris Weinke - Heupel was 2nd. 2002 Larry Johnson - Heisman went to Carson Palmer - Brad Banks was 2nd. 2003 Larry Fitzgerald - Heisman went to Jason White - Fitzgerald was 2nd.
So there ya go.
Congrats to McFadden.
Dang it Heath.
I was proud of myself for looking something up for a change, and hadn't updated the board recently.

According to Trey Biddy this afternoon, Carson Palmer is the only QB to win the Heisman and not play for a national championship in the same season in the last 15-20 years. Palmer's USC team played in the Rose Bowl and finished #2.
Tebow is a great player, but it is hard to justify him for the Heisman. He isn't playing for a national championship and if you want to go by numbers, Colt Brennan, Chase Daniel, Paul Smith and others are just as deserving.
