it will be interesting to see if the rain out at Vandy helps us because I think we had a good shot at being swept. Hopefully we dont miss out by .5 at the end

I was not a fan of the strikezone today. He was granting both the high strike, low strike, and the outside corner -- which i think forced both teams hands to chase some pitches. Both teams were constantly chirping at the home plate umpire (Butler in particular). Both teams struck out significantly above their average, and I don't think that was just Wells and Morgado/Wiltz's doings -- though congrats are in order for superb pitching. Overall, I was glad to see a series win. I agree. He wasn't consistent about it either. He stopped giving the high strike later in the game. |

This team isn't done yet, that SEC tournament bid is still well in reach, but we have to take care of things tomorrow and hope for the best against Ole Miss next weekend.

Tomorrow is so important because if we go to Ole Miss and get swept (which I don't think we will) winning tomorrow's game would be no different then going 2-1 this weekend and 1-2 next weekend which I would have been happy with
