I was just thinking about this with the Basketball Festivities on Sunday.
We'll be honoring the 1999 SEC Championship team this year. Who is your favorite player from that team?

It's a tough choice because there are so many memorable players on that team. I'm tempted to go with Pohle but I think I'll pick Wes McCrotty.
All around great ballplayer and Razorback.

No contest, David Walling for reasons having little to do with baseball.
Close no. 2 is Brad Bohannan.

Joe Jester and Rodney Nye are a tie for me.

Good team. It was a shame the way that Regional went.
I'd have to say Rodney Nye, even if he did give up the bomb to Cepicky.

Hands down winner - David Walling, awesome pitcher, best guy to keep a dugout loose that I've ever seen.
Of course some would say his talent was wasted, but that's another thread, sorry!

No contest, David Walling for reasons having little to do with baseball. Close no. 2 is Brad Bohannan. Also my #2 choice, Brad Bohannan. The only player we've ever had who swapped his "official Razorback sock cap" for a pork chop sandwich. FYI, still have the sock cap and wear it proudly from time to time on a cold, windy day at Baum.

I chose Walling for 2 reasons. The first was that he was a great pitcher. Second that he had an impact on my young son's baseball. He was a big inspiration for him, like his two uncles were.

Ryan Lundquist- chicks dig the long ball Premise #1: Chicks dig the long ball. Premise #2: Ryan Lundquist hit the long ball. Premise #3: You "dig" Ryan Lundquist. Conclusion: ?? Eventually people will learn to preview their own posts like I read everyone's, looking for things to mock. Until then, my amusement knows no bounds.

Was 1999 the year Charlie Issacson had a great freshman season?
