What about Joe Jester and Rodney Nye?
That was a really good team with good starting pitching, but no bullpen. Even tho there was a future major league pitcher out there in Dan Wright. Great arm, just very wild, as I recall.

Good team. It was a shame the way that Regional went. I'd have to say Rodney Nye, even if he did give up the bomb to Cepicky. Rodney Nye, even though I have never stood at the apparent end of the game since that bomb....

Yeah you put Richards or Sawatski on that 99 team and it's a National Championship team.
Offense, defense and starting pitching were all there.
