Let’s put together a list of the best quotes from Razorback players and coaches.
Try to be as specific as possible, the quote, where and when, the situation…
To get us started -
"I went up to him in the locker room and said, 'Coach I'm going to hit today.’ I went and told him that, so I was so glad that he listened." - Brett Eibner after he hit two homeruns at Mo. State 3/31/09

Someone help out with it, but DVH at one point said of Knox McCorquedale (sp?) :"Knox hit a triple? Now I've seen everything that can happen on a baseball diamond."

Chad Pierce to Jason Kipnis, I believe, as he stole 2B and 3B uncontested in the 9th inning of the 10-2 series clinching Sunday game at Kentucky
"Niiiiiiiicce Baserunning!"

Tom Pagnozzi said of Jake Dugger on a Cox Sports telecast, "He's just dumb enough to play this game."
Norm DeBryin while doing commentary for the alumni softball game. I forget the players, but he has used it more than once. "He covers the field like the morning dew."

I like the quote Leavitt gave on video board about fans at auburn asking him why he was at arkansas because he's from Utah, and Chase said "To be a Razorback!"

Speaking of quotes, what's up with Pat Murphy saying "Arkansas has an older club"? Out of 19 Hogs that saw the field, 13 of them are either freshmen (8) or sophomores (5).

"What the hell? We've been playing in it all day." -- Ryan Lundquist regarding the umpire's decision to call the series finale with South Carolina after two innings and the "Snow Game".

Paraphrased
"What are you and your joker boy making today? Five bucks an hour?" - DVH to a umpire in Shreveport after being tossed.

There have been several. This morning in the AR Dem Gazette is this one about last night's crowd:
"I knew we were going to have a good crowd, but I couldn't believe how full it was," Van Horn said. "It just makes you proud to be a Razorback."

From the little old lady who sits in the front row of Sec 112.
As a opposing hitter launched a monster home run which ended up bouncing off of the top of the batters eye a few years back. When it left the bat, Hognoxious said "I think our guys got a chance to get that one". As it hit the top of the batter's eye, she calmly turned to Nox and said "He'd have had to have a rocket up his rear (changed to keep it family friendly) to catch that ball!"
Only time I've ever seen the big boy speechless!
