And why?

Brady Toops and Scott Hode, fan energizers and clutch performers. We remember good players, but its the moments and fans that define Hawg Ball. Toops's slam, House's slam, the fans chanting along when Hode was at-bat. That Is Baseball

Tough call, but I picked Pags over McReynolds... Mostly because not only of what he did as a Hog and representing us in the pros, but what he's done for the community and Hog baseball since then... That said, if Coach Norm was an option, I would have chosen him... But he deserves better than "Other" - Bert

Cy Young would vote for Cliff Lee....
That's good enough for me...

Other/David Walling - one of the best pitchers we've had as a Razorback and a fun player in the dugout. Part of an outstanding team with Hinske/Nye.
Coach D for me as well. But I like the player focus.

Good question.
As has been mentioned, Coach DeBriyn and Van Horn would be obvious choices. Lot of talent on that list. King, Lee, and Todd were all one-year guys. Not to take anything away from any of these great players, but when I think of guys that personify Razorback baseball, I think of guys that demonstrate an ultra-competitive attitude on the field and are leaders on and off. Ryan Lundquist, Matt Erickson, Nick Pitts, and Brian Walker come to mind.
Pagnozzi has done so much for the program and is such a high profile guy that I would guess he would be it for many people.

From that list, had to go with Pags. Spanned a lot of Hog history. Played under Norm, coached under DVH, had a great pro career but remained visible with the program as donor and volunteer.

I haven't voted yet.
But I'm leaning towards other, and Charley Boyce. Didn't have the most stellar career as a Hog but his gutty performance in the 04 regional was as important as Toops' shot over the fence.

Without NORM there is no Razorback Baseball You don't really know that. He was hired in the 70's and I know what terrible shape the program was in. But once JFB became AD, he showed a willingness to invest in and upgrade all men's sports. I have to believe that if it weren't Norm, somewhere down the line, Broyles would have gotten the program on its feet. This is NOT to downgrade the importance of Norm to Hog baseball. That would be ridiculous. In answer to the poll, I voted for Pags, among the choices given. But there is no doubt that the men who ARE Hog baseball, are Norm DeBriyn and Dave Van Horn.
