Ronnie Brewer is not expected to be in the Grizzlies lineup Friday night against the Heat.
Brewer will likely take the sixth man role for the Grizzlies. It's hard to see his value as long as he's struggling for both shots and minutes with Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo.

Glad that Brewer is closer to home.

Ronnie Brewer has been diagnosed with a partially torn right hamstring. He is out indefinitely and will be re-evaluated in a week.
Brewer shed his crutches on Saturday but this seems to put the rest of his season in jeopardy. His fantasy value already tumbled when he was traded from Utah, so don't think twice about cutting him.

On the ESPN bottom line last night, it said he'd be out for atleast 3 weeks.

Ronnie Brewer (hamstring) participated in a non-contact practice on Tuesday
We suspect Brewer is targeting Friday's game against the Knicks for his return. Once healthy, he'll get 18-22 minutes a game but shots will be tough to come by. Leave him on waivers.

Ronnie Brewer returned from his hamstring injury on Tuesday, getting five points and one steal in 15 minutes off the Grizzlies bench.
Brewer went without any rebounds or assists, and unless his minutes improved significantly (which is unlikely) he is a marginal fantasy player.

Ronnie Brewer (hamstring) is out for the rest of the season.
Brewer averaged just 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in his five games with the Grizzlies this season. He's a restricted free agent this summer and will draw interest as a high character defensive stopper.

The Grizzlies have decided not to make Ronnie Brewer a qualifying offer of $3.8 million, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent at midnight.
This one doesn't make much sense, as the Grizzlies gave a future first-round pick for Brewer, who played just five games for Memphis. Brewer had a nasty hamstring injury at the end of last season, and you have to wonder if the injury is going to linger into next season.

Shooting guard Ronnie Brewer could be poised to join the Jazz if they choose not to match Portland's offer to Wesley Matthews.
Brewer, who was traded from Utah to Memphis last season, is interested in returning to Utah. However, it does sound like the only way Brewer would return is if the Jazz don't match Matthews' offer, which is five-years and $33.4 million.

Free agent swingman Ronnie Brewer is interested in playing for the Bulls, according to his agent.
Should Orlando match the Bulls' offer for J.J. Redick, it would conceivably open up a slot for Brewer, who is returning from a season-ending hamstring injury.

Free agent Ronnie Brewer reached an agreement with the Bulls on a three-year, $12.5 million contract.
The Bulls are the new Jazz, with former Utah players Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver and now Brewer in place. The Grizzlies made a mistake by not picking up Brewer's option, but they were apparently already planning on dumping all their money on Rudy Gay. Brewer's a solid player, and already looks like the favorite to start at shooting guard for the Bulls.
