The Jazz have until Saturday to reach an agreement on a contract extension with Ronnie Brewer.
If the two sides don't agree on a deal, Brewer would become a restricted free agent at season's end. The market appears set after the Thunder on Wednesday inked Thabo Sefolosha to a deal reportedly worth between $3.3 to 3.75 million a year. Sefolosha was taken one spot ahead of Brewer in the 2006 draft.

Ronnie Brewer finished Saturday's game with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. He made 6-of-12 and 3-of-6 FTs in 47 minutes.
This was the first time all season that Brewer has had three steals in a game, and his 1.2 steals per game are his lowest since his rookie season. He's averaging a career-high 35 minutes per game, a fact that has been obscured by his abnormally low steals, FG% (48%, vs. 53% lifetime) and FT% (58%, vs. 71% lifetime).

Ronnie Brewer came one point shy of his career-high on Monday, finishing with 25 points on 11-of-16 shooting in a win over the 76ers, adding three rebounds and three steals.
As usual, Brewer did his damage with an impressive mid-range and inside game. Whenever a key player goes down (it was Andrei Kirilenko on Monday) it seems like he steps up in a big way, so keep him active.

Ronnie Brewer double-doubled in Utah's win over San Antonio, notching 17 points (7-of-11 FGs and 3-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
After a slow start to the season, Brewer is heating up and shouldn't be on many waiver wires at this point. His value is typically buoyed by copious steals and a robust 52.6% career field goal percentage.

Ronnie Brewer hit 8-of-13 shots and a 3-pointer for 19 points, eight rebounds and a steal in Saturday's win over the Lakers.
His stats tend to be all over the board from game to game, but in the end, his nearly 12 points, four boards, three assists and two steals per game equate to fantasy value. He also shoots it well from the floor (50%), but is hitting just 61 percent from the free throw line.

Yeah that alley-oop reverse dunk was in sportscenter's "ultimate highlight". It was a thing of beauty

Ronnie Brewer had just three points, but added a career-high 10 assists to go along with four steals in a win over the Grizzlies.
Brewer has been a tough guy to start in fantasy leagues, but was great tonight due to the absence of Deron Williams. Williams is hoping to play through a wrist injury in the next one, so don't expect the assists from Brewer going forward.

Ronnie Brewer partially dislocated his right pinkie finger after getting tangled up with Jason Kidd in the first quarter on Saturday.
"I felt it pop, so I just pulled away from the basketball," said Brewer. He dislocated the same pinkie earlier this season and another finger three different times, so we don't expect this to keep him out of action. However, neither Brewer or the team trainer were able to pop the finger back into place, so we'll have to see how he's feeling on Monday before the Miami game.

The latest buzz is that Utah's Ronnie Brewer might be headed to Memphis in exchange for a future first round draft pick.
While the Jazz have a crowed wing rotation, Brewer would have a hard time finding shots in Memphis behind O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, and Zach Randolph. Brewer owners better cross their fingers

Ronnie Brewer has been traded to Memphis in exchange for a protected first-round draft pick in 2011.
It's a big blow to Brewer's already declining value. He'll go from a starter in Utah to a strict backup behind Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo in Memphis. Feel free to drop Brewer. Meanwhile, the Grizz are preparing as if they'll lose Gay in free agency this summer.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
