Are we counting possible regional attendnce?
I say without it all these weekday afternoon games I was just made aware of hurt us. But I don't think the powers that be would let numbers slip below last years total with more games to be played at home this year.
168,212 (not sure why we feel the need to avoid round numbers)

It seems like everyone is a little scared of the 200,000 mark. Well, I'm not so here it is and I'm glad I'm not wagering any money on it. Plus, with global warming, I figure the average gameday temperature will be a sunny 74.8 baseball degrees which will easily help boost the total over the 200K mark : 200,000

It would be cool to be the first in college baseball to break that mark Well, I presume it's never been done before - Bert

I have to say that I am furious about this year's schedule. It shows a complete lack of understanding the dynamics of the community and fan base. Ticket sales will be up. However, actual attendance will be down.
The games were moved to the afternoons to hopefully catch warmer weather than many of the miserably cold nights we had last year. However, the large school districts in our area have staggered start times for various levels, and a lot of kids are in school until 3:30 -4:00. If you leave Bentonville or Rogers at 4:00, the game is more than half over when you get there.
I can understand doing it a couple of times very early in the season or to accomodate travel for the other team. This schedule has six 3:05 weekday games. The TBA Wednesday N. Colorado game will likely be an afternoon game. Having the SEC opener at 12:35 is laughable. That puts 28% of the schedule being played when a large percentage of people cannot get there because of school and work.
Now that my rant is over, we also don't have the star power of Schmidt, Todd, Welker drawing the marginal fan every weekend.
We will sell 202,000 tickets, but less than 150,00 will actually walk through the gate.

I wonder if any of those games were changed because of the Naturals games?

I wonder if any of those games were changed because of the Naturals games? No. They are all in February and March before they Naturals begin playing. The reason the entire March 14-16 Georgia series is being played early (12:35, 12:05, 12:05) is to accomodate the NCAA Track Championships on Friday and Saturday. So that is understandable. I hate it, but understand it.
