On another board, the possibility of a cool nickname for RRS was discussed. How about [glow=red,2,300]The Village[/glow]? after the movie. Florida has the Swamp, Michigan the Big House, LSU Death Valley etc. why not us? [glow=red,2,300]The Village[/glow] would fit for many reasons. 1. Many view Arkansas as somewhat provencial, and this would fit right into that. 2. The movie The Village is somewhat creepy and what better to get opposing teams and fans here and have them just a little intimidated? 3. The mark that is used to warn folks in the movie is a red diagonal splash of paint on buildings. How cool would that be to place those wherever? 4. The "monsters" in the movie were apparently "pig people" who wore red cloaks." |

yes, but the student section could embrace that and use it to our favor.
This name is based to much on the movie, once people forget about the movie, all the things about it will just kinda be weird...
