I agree, except for the loses, I think we beat Bama, SC, and UT

my biggest concern is whether or not our pass defense will be any better than it was last year. On paper our defense is worse and that worries me. That makes me think we will beat Auburn and lose to Kentucky.
My official prediction is that we go into Knoxville undefeated and ranked in the top 10 and lose. We'll also lose in BR.

I think the defensive line took the biggest hit, but Herring recruited well enough that we'll just reload there.
We get Fairchild back linebacker and the best of the younger guys will bring athleticism to the other spot. Dacus will hold the middle.
Grant's back, Hewitt is back there (the enforcer), and I think Norton will be able to do alot of what Houston did, only Norton's a bit taller and that helps.
I think the defense is going to be pretty stout, it's the offense that's gonna have to pass the ball on occasion that concerns me.

...it's the offense that's gonna have to pass the ball on occasion that concerns me. We did make to the SEC Championship game without doing it last year. Why not this year?

Yes, but I think if we had been able to pose more of a threat passing the ball, we could've beat Florida. Not some pass happy spread offense, just the ability to see that they've got 9-10 in the box and check into a pass play and execute it for a 7-10 yard gain.

We scored 28 points against Florida, one of our highest totals of the year. The problem was they scored 38 points. Our defense and special teams is more of a concern to me than our QB.

And we coulda had more if Fish had not muffed that punt and they would have had less. that's why I said special teams and defense.

We scored 28, but the defense scored 7 of those and set up another 7 with a turnover.
The offense put us in an early hole, with UF winning the field position battle early and often.

Sitting here right now I think we beat everyone except LSU. But if the offense works that well, and the defense stops that well, we may have the confidence needed to win that one. We'll lose at least one, but less than 3. More details: www.ThePigIdea.com
