Looks like Evans is staying.
That's a good break for the Hogs in my opinion.

As long as we have him for atleast one year, to help Pelphrey get settled, I think it will be ok.

I'm not as concerned with Pelphrey getting settled, he's been a head coach for 4 years now, he's been in the SEC, he's played in big games, coached in big games. He's alot more experienced than Heath was when he arrived.

He's alot more experienced than Heath was when he arrived. doesn't hurt to have Evans around to help, though. I bet Evans finishes his career at Arkansas.

I'm not as concerned with Pelphrey getting settled, he's been a head coach for 4 years now, Not in the SEC. Not in the situation he walked into here. He's alot more experienced than Heath was when he arrived. That's not saying much. I think he'll be fine, but I feel better having Evans around.

I think we need Evans, at least at first. Heath was vastly inexperienced, so i'm not going to get excited because the new guy is "only" sorta inexperienced. I think Pelphrey will be a good one, but we need Evans.
And no way he finishes his career here. He's not that old of a guy. If we have success again, someone will snap him up.
