I have a hard time imaging how they are going to put more suites in...
And is now the time for expansion? Coming off what is probably the worst attendance ever?

Well they didn't put in suites behind the goals. I guess that is where those will be going. Also, suites will sell better than we might think.

Hopefully while they have their hammers and what not out they will put a coat of paint on the inside and replace the faded out displays in the concourse.

The waiting list for Suites at Bud Walton is about 100 names. I believe they've had one box turnover since it was built.
These will go like "twinkies at an overeaters anonymous weekend retreat."
P.S. - Does it concern anyone else that the press release states "should return", when referencing next years team?

demand is not a bad thing.
I think they should give me a suite for free since I go to all the games. Make the blue hairs sit up in the upper deck.
ha.

I think they should give Heath, Drizzle, Chicken, Darren, etc. a suite for being the best and most loyal fans in the nation.

I really don't get this move. $$$...PH2's sources are probably pretty good on this. There are a good number of people/ companies who are just waiting for the opportunity to drop $20K+ per year into those skyboxes and donate/ advertise a good bit more for the right to do so. They are tired of waiting and the athletic department wants their cash. Will directly generate $250-350K plus a significant amount more indirectly per year. PH2 may know this for sure, but I believe the only box turned over was Bud Walton's box.

Per FoxSports this evening in an interview with Fred Vorsanger, Bud Walton Arena Manager, they've had two boxes turn over in 14 years. Not sure which ones though. Sorry to disappoint you HomerHog.
