That's why Nutt still has a job and Stan Heath doesn't. As much as the Hogville people would like to think support of the football program is being torn apart under Nutt, ticket sales keep rising.
Stan could not keep butts in the seats. I hope Pelphrey can fix it.

how can this possibly be considered a real number when the renewals aren't due until May 1 and some existing ticket holders haven't even received renewal forms yet? after May 1, I will listen to a number being attached, when the real amount is known.

It says the growth is from this same time last year.

In addition, the 13% increase is MONEY deposited over this time last year, Not 13% more tickets ordered.
Did they deposit money sooner than last year? are ticket prices higher? lots of unanswered questions. Butts in seats in September will tell...

If you haven't goten a renewal notice, I would be concerned. Ticket prices are the same and the article does give the price. And in the adminstrations eyes, butts in seats is not as important as money in hand.

As long as we win games, there will be fans at the games.

Everyone registered online got the e-mail reminders, but the majority of ticket holders have not received printed notices.

Butts in seats in September will tell... . butts in seats is not as important as money in hand. yes, but then there is also merchandise that doesnt get purchased and $5 cokes that don't get purchased, etc, etc. if people don't go to games. so, not being there is important too. for out of towners, if they dont come, it's lost revenue for hotels, restaurants, and city tax coffers. when you get down to it, actual tickets sales $ is a fraction of the overall picture. Let that other $ go away, and then the pressure REALLY kicks in.
