Sutton, Richardson, Heath.. all mid-major hires. Two outta three ain't bad . Pelphrey's overall record at South Alabama: 02/03 - 14-14 03/04 - 12-16 04/05 - 10-18 05/06 - 24-7 (reg. season co-champs; tourney champs; NCAA automatic bid) 06/07 - 20-12 (reg. season champs; upset by Troy in SBC Tourn.; NIT) Total: 80-67 I'm willing to give him a chance. He had them moving in the right direction. Then again, so did our former coach. But it is kinda funny that USF was talking to Pelphrey.. you know, the job that Stan Heath took. So are you basically saying USF chose Stan over Pelphrey? This looks like we decided to sell our car and ended up buying the same model only a few years newer. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the old car was fairly reliable it just dind't have a sparkle to it. I just hope everything runs smooth on the new model. Maybe we can paint some flames on the side to get people excited.

So are you basically saying USF chose Stan over Pelphrey? No, Pelphrey turned them down.. but still a little "concerning" we're fishing in the same pond.

I'm ok with this. We just needed to get someone and move on at this point.
I do like the fact that he has plenty of experience with the SEC too.

I'll just say: 'the bags are full of jags'! and very few will get that.
