I'm guessing Mike is just scouting, but I'd take him. I wanted him 5 years ago.
Majerus even with the idea that he may not do it long due to health. He could be a fine bandaid while we get through an AD change.
Pat Summitt is intriguing, but everyone said we were firing Stan to get an established coach. No doubt she is very successful in the women's game, but that is not D1 mens basketball. You have no idea how that would translate. I don't think you can trust her record anymore than a great D3 coach. Then you have a possible problem with recruiting. Sure she gets any girls she wants sitting there with the top program in the country. It's one of the few places they can go and actually get TV time. While most would not admit to it, do you think these 18 year old boys really want to play for a woman head coach?

Bye Patrick Beverly, Bye Jeniro Bush, The players would not respect her, the university's soap opera would go global and the athletic department would be the biggest joke in the nation. She couldn't outrecruit any good male coaches. Please no butch coaches at UA. It's bad enough as it is. Plus the Susie-Hugger would turn to unbelieveable Pat hugger. Just hire Majerus and get it over with before we start losing recruits. |

We're not getting Majerus. Majerus did the same thing as Dana Altman when he accepted the USC job then backed out. Plus his health problems is something that could hinder his hiring.
