. The Florida fan who was ready to me (‘05 I think). The obnoxious ORU fans who sat behind me in ’05 (David helped with that one ;D ). I had your back... I hope those ORU fans come back this year....that game is going to be ugly for them...

How about the DVH getting tossed during our first at bat after the Home ump said Jones leaned into the pitch this year, and DVH going into the tirade with his hat sideways.

Skip Bertman's retirement game when he put on the Hog Hat and we called the Hogs. The previous year the Auburn coach was retiring, but he wouldn't put on the Hog Hat!

The kentucky miracle when I was yelling "Stop the bleeding, let's try again tomorrow!" The 2 bag tag Being a part of the turf management team Throwing Dale off mid-heckle by sitting down beside him with second base in my hand Asking the Florida team how it felt to be the only team on campus that couldn't win the national championship! B-Walk's Grand Salami Being able to return the ball to Danny Hamblin after the 3 run shot against kansas (Really turned his season around) Joking with Duke Welker before the mid-game drag Pretending to wash the dugout while Playboy was there taking pictures for their "Girls of the SEC" issue Answering "Cliff Lee" for every trivia question Listening to the numerous burns delivered to the kid. RBI girls between innings Hearing Larry Shank do a beautiful version of the national anthem Throwing my hands up only to see Juice's ball caught on the warning track, something I make fun of other fans for doing! (Charlie hasn't let me live that one down.) Seeing two of the best pitchers in college baseball go head-to-head especially since we came out on top. Turning our hats sideways for an inning or two in honor of DVH getting tossed Bubb's chicken wing

You are all forgetting the greatest memory of all! Larry Shank's amazing voice every Sunday home game singing the National Anthem. That's my favorite moment at Baum Stadium. I'm just glad that we will hear it this year since they taped him singing it.

Dale having a good heckle??? Just kidding. I have enjoyed the threats on my physical safety at various times. Other than that, my favorites have been mentioned by most folks. I just enjoy a good day at the park.

The Kentucky "miracle" that very few stayed around to see. Followed by the next mornings on-line article that was published by JReed and later pulled when HogBusGuy emailed the Sports editor at the paper and questioned whether Mr. Reed "might" have left the game early. The editor stated that their reporters "never" leave the game early, although in this case Mr. Reed had called it a Wildcat win, when in fact the Hawgs had a miracle come from behind victory, which many Hog fans were unaware of till they arrived at the Stadium the next day. Even "Norm" had left early and DVH stated he would have had he had the opportunity! The Sport's section on-line was re-written quickly, but HogBusGuy saved the original article and emailed it a couple more times for an explanation with no success. I'm proud to say that me and my dad are 2 of the few that stayed. We have an unwritten but often spoken rule that has been passed down for generations in our family that we never, ever, under any circumstances, leave any sporting event until it's over. My greatest moment was taking my son to his 1st baseball game at any level this past spring to Baum. We were playing Kansas, I remember because he liked the cartoon Jayhawk on the scoreboard. He had a blast and "bay-ball" is still 1 of his favorite words and things to watch on TV. I should've recorded some games because he still points to the TV and says "bay-ball". We're both looking forward to next year. The Friday night Vandy game is the best game I've been to at Baum and it still makes me laugh when I think about it because my dad couldn't go because he took his grand-daughter to "Disney's Princesses on Ice" instead. Charlie - you mention "The Eastern Illinois game in ’99 were Lundquist set the school HR record."
I'm not sure if anyone else remembers, but in that game, Issaacson, in what I believe was his first collegiate start, threw 6 no-hit innings before being pulled (I'm sure he was on a pitch count that early in the season).
I've still got the completed scorecard from that one. Charlie was fun to watch.

Sorry, that last post should have been directed to Dale, since it was his post I was referring to.
