1998 vs. Alabama / Razorback Stadium Alabama came into Fayetteville ranked 22nd in the country and the Hogs trounced them 42-6 in Houston Nutt's first SEC game.
1999 vs. Tennessee / Razorback Stadium The Razorbacks and Clint Stoerner got revenge on #3 Tennessee for the "Stoernover" game the previous year. The Vols' bid to defend their National Championship was derailed on a Stoerner to Lucas strike. Hogs win 28-24 and the students carry the goal posts to Dickson.
2000 Cotton Bowl vs. Texas It was the Hogs first bowl win in 15 years and their first after a string of seven straight losses. All the better, it game in dominating fashion over the Longhorns. The Hogs held Texas to -27 yards rushing and after the Hogs had defeated the Horns 27-6, Houston Nutt turned the horns down to a roaring Razorback crowd.
2001 vs. Ole Miss / Oxford, MS Eli Manning and the Rebels joined Matt Jones and the Razorbacks in the longest game in NCAA history, a 7 Overtime marathon that ended 58-56 when Jermain Petty stopped Ole Miss' Doug Ziegler short of the end zone on the Rebs 2 point conversion attempt in the 7OT.
2002 vs. LSU / War Memorial Stadium The Miracle on Markham. Jones to Birmingham to Atlanta. Matt Jones' 31 yard touchdown pass to Decori Birmingham with seconds remaining, and David Carlton's 35 yard extra point gave the Hogs a 21-20 victory and a trip to Atlanta.
2003 vs. Texas / Austin, TX Matt Jones and Cedric Cobbs ran all over 5th ranked Texas in what's known as the Ambush in Austin. The 38-28 victory was Houston Nutt's 2nd straight over the Horns.
2003 vs. Kentucky / Lexington, KY Arkansas matched their NCAA record 7OT game against Ole Miss with another thriller in Lexington. The defining moment of the game is Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen looking up into the stands as the fans streamed out and saying "where ya'll goin'? It ain't over!" The Matt Jones led offense worked again, in a 71-63 victory.
2006 vs. Auburn / Auburn, AL The Hogs rolled into Auburn on the heels of three straight wins after a season opening loss to USC. The Tigers were ranked #2 in the country but couldn't stop Arkansas' potent running game. In what was arguably the McFadden/Jones coming out party, the Hogs trounced the Tigers 27-10.
2006 vs. Tennessee / Razorback Stadium Arkansas had climbed to a #11 national ranking and the visiting Vols were ranked #13. ESPN's College Gameday came to Fayetteville for the first time ever and Lee Corso's exclamation of "look at the size of this thing!" as he donned the Hog mascot head will be remembered forever. The Hogs never had a problem, winning 31-14 and pushing Darren McFadden into the national spotlight and the Hiesman trophy race.
2007 vs. LSU / Baton Rouge, LA The 3OT win over the #1 ranked Tigers was the Hogs first win over a top ranked team since 1981. Arkansas' running backs stole the show as Darren McFadden, Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis all had big games. Matterral Richardson intercepted the Tigers 2 point conversion attempt in the third overtime to secure the 50-48 win. It moved Arkansas to 7-1 all time in overtime games.

I don't think the '06 Tennessee win was the biggest, I think it was the most estatic game, I think the biggest win had to be the 3OT win over #1 LSU in bAton rouge.

Every single one of those games holds special memories and were "big" wins for their own reasons. However, I would have to go with the Miracle on Markham as it is the only one that meant something to us bigger than the game itself in winning the West.

The 2000 Cotton Bowl was a great win. I throughly enjoyed that trip to Dallas.

Good poll Charlie. So many great, memorable games.
For me it came down to 99, 00 and 07. I went with the Cotton Bowl; the horns down and -27 rushing yards. Unbelievable effort there.

In my opinion it has to be beating 3rd ranked Tenn. in '99. One year after losing our first game in the Houston Nutt era, it was just set for excitment. I remember being at the game and watching warm-ups. The team was running back and forth, just determined to do the unthinkable of the year. And when Stoerner threw that pass to Lucas in the back of the endzone, it was at that moment you knew the Hogs had pulled it off. They cost us a chance to win the National Title in '98 and payback was relived in a play of what seemed to be 1 very short second. Simply Amazing!

The '99 Tennessee game and 2000 Cotton Bowl were so much fun to attend. Being a student at the time added to the enjoyment. Yep, gotta go with the goal posts on Dickson.

Biggest win was absolutely the win over LSU, because it was against #1, on the road, and pretty much nobody gave us a chance... Might even be sweeter if LSU goes on to with the MNC... That said, every one of those games were Hella Fun - Bert

A lot of great memories in there, but I'll have to agree with HomerHog. The greatest was the one that meant the most outside of the game. The Miracle on Markham won the West.
