Gay, Felix named top track athletes of 2007Sprinters Tyson Gay and Allyson Felix were named the winners of the Jesse Owens Award as the outstanding U.S. track and field athletes of 2007. The award has been presented annually by USA Track & Field since 1988.

Gay—triple World Champs gold medalist in the 100, 200 and 4 x 100—totaled 217 points to outrank 400 star Jeremy Wariner (193), who also placed 2nd in the world AOY balloting.
