I think the grass looks great. But I wouldn't call myself a horticulture expert...
Just shocking to see an Infield Fly Guy go by the house today and wave AS HE DROVE BY AND DID NOT STOP OR TALK AT ALL!!!!!
...though I did get the idea he may have been on a mission...

So that would be 8/14. If it was Saturday, I guess it wasn't me. Although I was up there Friday afternoon. I got to take care of the nephew while Mom was out of town and Dad was at football practice. I didn't see you outside though. Sorry if it was I that missed you.

Great site..... Just discovered it the other dayand have been reading for hours......
Went by the field the other day and it is looking great....
Baum is one of the best stadiums in the country and the improvements that have been made over the last few years have really helped.
With that said..........One improvement that I feel would really add to the beauty of the park would be for a tree line to somehow break up the current ugly view looking out towards left field. Nothing against the plant across the street but it takes away a lot from the beautiful views elsewhere........
Any thoughts?

I agree, it would even add to the beauty of the park if something green was covering that plant up. Fall ball is coming up quickly, anyone going to go to watch some practices?

Thanks for checking out the site and welcome to the board!
We talked about the tree line some at the end of the season and I think the concensus was that the tree line is a top priority and something they plan on working on.
I deffinitely plan on posting daily updates during the Fall World Series. I can't wait!

Great to hear about the possible tree line.....When does fall practice start and are they open to the public? Do they play intra squad games? How many? Will there be a schedule posted for those games?

They'll play 5 to 7 intrasquad games. They are open to the public but not widely advertised. I don't think they've said when they are yet but someone on here will know when they're coming up.
