www.nydailynews.com/front/story/262999p-225008c.htmlDavid Barrett signed with the Jets last March because the money was good - a $4.5 million signing bonus - and because he had heard wonderful things about Herman Edwards' player-friendly attitude. Then he met new defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson, and it got loud - fast. The former Cardinals cornerback became an immediate whipping boy for Henderson, who berated Barrett for not showing enough intensity in training camp. The decibel level started to wear on him. "Before you knew it, the poor kid needed a hug," Edwards said yesterday. "I had to hug him every once in a while because I thought he was going to leave camp."
