The choice of Joe Torre of a Cleveland pitcher who is 6-4 over Cliff at 8-1, is unacceptable. I have contacted mlb.com, www.baseballprospectus.com, www.leagueoffans.org, and tried (so far unsuccessfully) to contact fox.com. I am informing Fox that will not support any companies that advertise during the all-star game because of the unfairness of the choices made.  My little protest. |

From today's Cleveland Plain Dealer:
Cliff Lee (8-1, 3.95 ERA), whose .889 winning percentage is tops in the AL, was also summoned. Just so he understood why he was bypassed, it was explained to Lee that the players' vote determined those who went as replacements.
