Listening to the HogPod episode with Dave Van Horn and he said, when talking about his argument with Vitello following our game against Tennessee, that "the old days, in baseball? They're gone. And what do I mean by that? You come in to our state, and you're talking to kids in our state, and you get a commitment from a kid in our state and we haven't had that opportunity to see him yet? And maybe you commit him without seeing him, you're watching him on a TV screen...because that went on last year? That doesn't mean anything to us anymore. We're gonna go out and talk to him. And if you get upset about it, you get upset about it."
Also said he talked to Vitello about things that happened 3-4 years ago when he left, that they had never talked about and DVH wasn't happy about.
