Marlins placed INF Brian Anderson on the 10-day injured list with a left oblique strain.
Anderson was out of the lineup over the last couple of days, and the Marlins will create some roster space by placing him on the injured list. Jose Devers has been recalled in a corresponding move from their alternate training site. In 65 plate appearances, the 27-year-old struggled to a .183 average and .529 OPS.

Brian Anderson was lifted from Monday's game against the Phillies due to left shoulder soreness.
Anderson has apparently been playing with the injury for a few days and he seemed to aggravate the ailment when he landed awkwardly on a slide into third base in the bottom of the second inning. He remained in the game initially but was pinch-hit for in the bottom of the third. It seems like more of a day-to-day injury, but the Marlins should know more about Anderson's status Tuesday.

Marlins placed 3B Brian Anderson on the 10-day injured list with a left shoulder subluxation.
It's the same issue that sidelined him back in May. Anderson suffered the injury while diving for a ball in Tuesday's contest against the Mets. It's likely an unfortunate end to a disappointing year for the 28-year-old who appeared in just 67 games while hitting .249/.337/.378 with seven homers, 28 RBI and five stolen bases.
