Phillies signed INF Logan Forsythe to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Forsythe, 33, batted only .227/.325/.353 with seven home runs across 367 plate appearances for the Rangers last season. The veteran infielder hasn't hit much at all since 2016 but does offer some defensive versatility.

Phillies release INF Logan Forsythe.
Forsythe signed a minor league deal with the Phillies in February and was unable to secure a spot as a bench player. The 33-year-old is coming off a disappointing .227/.325/.353 batting line in 367 plate appearances with the Rangers last year.

Craig Mish of SportsGrid reports that the Marlins have signed infielder Logan Forsythe.
Miami is scrambling to find any available players with MLB experience after the team got hit with a COVID-19 outbreak this past weekend. Forsythe batted just .227/.325/.353 in 367 plate appearances last year with the Rangers, but he can be an option at multiple positions on the infield for the Marlins whenever they resume play.
