Rangers signed INF Logan Forsythe to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Forsythe is forced to settle for a spring training invite after posting a disappointing .232/.313/.291 batting line in 416 plate appearances between the Twins and Dodgers in 2019. The 32-year-old wasn't great in 2017 either, but we still figure he'll end up finding a way onto a major league roster this year, whether with the Rangers or elsewhere.

Logan Forsythe went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's loss to the Royals.
Forsythe was an extra-base machine in this one, swatting an RBI double in the third inning, knocking another double in the fourth and slapping an RBI triple past a diving Whit Merrifield in right field in the eighth. The triple was his first of the year, and the 32-year-old also has nine doubles and a trio of homers to his name. Forsythe has quietly enjoyed something of a renaissance in Arlington this spring, batting .305/.402/.516 through 28 games while playing all over the infield for the Rangers.
