Lions first-round G/C Frank Ragnow has spent the "majority" of his time at left guard during OTAs.
There had been discussion if Ragnow would man guard or center, but the answer is increasingly appearing to be guard. Ragnow was a center his final two years at Arkansas. Shifting to guard would allow Graham Glasgow to remain at the pivot.

Lions first-round G/C Frank Ragnow has worked primarily at left guard during training camp.
It is not a surprise considering it is also where he worked during the offseason program, but it does confirm that will be his position this season. Despite transitioning to a new position, Ragnow has shown well so far in camp. "It’s been a couple days in pads and really through the spring he’s been pretty consistent in everything that he has done," coach Matt Patricia said. "I think he’s a guy that works extremely hard, loves the game, he’s physical, he’s strong, but still has a lot to learn." Ragnow will open the season as the starter next to C Graham Glasgow.

Lions OL Frank Ragnow worked at center during the first day of OTAs.
A first-round pick last year, Ragnow played almost exclusively at left guard as a rookie, but center was expected to be his long-term position. It looks like that switch will happen this year. Graham Glasgow, who played center last year, should replace T.J. Lang at right guard.

Lions C Frank Ragnow suffered a knee injury in the third preseason game.
Ragnow was originally listed with a leg injury. He had to be helped off the field and was eventually carted off, so this has potential to be a huge loss for Detroit. Graham Glasgow would move back to center if Ragnow misses time, with Kenny Wiggins starting at right guard.
