Seahawks RB Alex Collins rushed three times for 19 yards in Thursday's preseason game.
The fifth-rounder was buried deep on the depth chart, getting run behind someone named George Farmer. It's a clear indication he's on the roster bubble. Collins has taken the rock 12 times for 37 yards (3.08 YPC) thus far this preseason. He should get an extended look in the finale.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Alex Collins is expected to see a "significant increase" in carries Sunday versus Pittsburgh.
The Baltimore Sun also hinted at this earlier, although Terrance West was working with the first-team offense during warmups. Collins has been excellent in terms of yards per carry to this point, but almost all of his production has come in garbage time. Still, Collins is worth grabbing in all fantasy leagues and makes West unusable. Buck Allen remains locked in as the passing-down back.

Alex Collins rushed 18 times for 113 yards in the Ravens' 40-0, Week 8 win over the Dolphins, adding two receptions for 30 additional yards. Both before and after Joe Flacco's (concussion) injury, Collins put the Ravens on his back, consistently ripping 5-6 yard gains and keeping the Ravens' dismal offense out of 3rd-and-long situations. Collins seemed shot out of a cannon, decisively hitting the hole and breaking arm tackles. He's now averaging 5.97 yards through 80 carries. He's begging for more work, but out-touched Buck Allen just 20-18 this evening. Allen's workload was partly-scoreboard related, as the Ravens were playing from (way) ahead. Collins is banging down the RB2 door, and has a solid Week 9 matchup in the Titans.

Alex Collins had 20 carries for 49 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Packers.
He added four catches for 22 yards. Collins remained the featured back with Terrance West a healthy scratch. He didn't find much running room, but managed to score on a goal-line TD. The 20 carries were a season-high for Collins. Collins will be an RB2/FLEX for Week 12 against the Texans.

Alex Collins rushed 15 times for 75 yards and two touchdowns with two receptions for 23 yards in Sunday's Week 13 win over the Lions.
Collins battled through a first half shoulder injury to take over in the second half. Both of his touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, rushing for a 7-yard score to put the Ravens up 27-13 and then adding a 6-yard score to ice the victory after an interception. This was the third straight game that Collins registered a touchdown on the ground, becoming the first Baltimore player to accomplish that since Willis McGahee in 2010. Collins is getting hot at the right time for fantasy owners, but will face a stiff Steelers run defense on the road in Week 14.

Ravens waived RB Alex Collins.
Collins gets the boot just nine hours after being arrested for his involvement in a car crash Friday morning. Details regarding his arrest are still scarce, though whatever he did was obviously enough for the Ravens to wash their hands of him. Collins broke out for a team-high 973 rushing yards in 2017 but collapsed last year while losing his starting gig to undrafted rookie Gus Edwards. With Collins out of the equation, Baltimore is sure to address its backfield either in the draft or free agency. Perhaps the Ravens will be one of the teams in pursuit of Le'Veon Bell.

Free agent RB Alex Collins is no longer suspended.
Collins is also healthy and can begin trying out for teams. It's unclear if a team will look to add him this late into the season, but Collins is arguably better than some end of the roster backs right now if he's truly healed up from his broken leg. In 2017, Collins rushed for 973 yards and eight touchdowns before having a down 2018 season.

Seahawks promoted RB Alex Collins from the practice squad. Collins was just signed to the practice squad eight days ago, but coach Pete Carroll has already said he will be "very comfortable" with Collins getting reps against the Bills on Sunday. Chris Carson (foot) and Carlos Hyde (hamstring) are both out for the second consecutive week. DeeJay Dallas figures to lead the Seahawks' backfield, but Collins will probably mix in for some touches on early downs. Travis Homer will mix in for a few touches, but Dallas is the only back we would be comfortable FLEXing in fantasy.
