Lions C Travis Swanson underwent shoulder surgery last week, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The shoulder injury certainly played a part in Swanson's struggles this year. He received PFF's seventh-worst grade out of 40 qualifiers at center. Swanson should be recovered in plenty of time for training camp this summer.

Lions placed C Travis Swanson on injured reserve with a concussion, ending his season.
Per beat writer Kyle Meinke, Swanson suffered a setback. He was originally concussed Week 14 and hasn't played since. This comes after Swanson missed the final five games of last season with a brain injury. The former 2104 third-rounder has real health concerns heading into free agency in March.
