Rotoworld-
John Daly authored a bogey-free, 7-under-par 32-33=65 on the host course in his opening round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
Why not. He landed 15 greens and buried seven birdies, including a pair from 13-15 feet. In his post-round interview on Golf Channel, he was quite happy. "It's been a long time since I've played that well," Daly said. Indeed. The last time he went that low was a third-round 64 at last year's Sony Open in Hawaii where he placed T32. He'll attempt to keep the momentum alive on the Shore Course at Monterey Peninsula Country Club on Friday.
