Eagles LT Jason Peters said he will be "all right" after leaving the Eagles' Sunday night loss to the Panthers with a back injury.
The Eagles called the injury back spasms, and Peters was able to walk on his own to the team bus after the game. When asked if he would be able to play after the bye week, Peters responded, "Yeah." It appears the Eagles have dodged what could have been a serious injury concern.

Pro Bowler again. Among active players, only Peyton Manning (14), Tom Brady and Jason Witten (10 each) and Drew Brees and Larry Fitzgerald (nine each) have been picked to more Pro Bowls than Peters.

Eagles LT Jason Peters tore his ACL and MCL Monday night against Washington.
There was some hope he was just dealing with an MCL injury, but an MRI on Tuesday revealed the extent of the damage. It is a massive blow to the Eagles' offensive line which may require them to move RT Lane Johnson to the left side. Halapoulivaati Vaitai, who filled in for Peters Monday night, is the other option. 36 in January, it is fair to wonder if Peters has played his final snap.
Would be a sad end for one of the greats!

Eagles LT Jason Peters (knee, injured reserve) plans to play in 2018.
"They hadn’t asked me, but I’m going to be back," the 36-year-old said. "If they don’t want me, I’m still [going] somewhere." Peters has been sidelined since October because of a torn ACL and MCL, but he is already back running and looks on track for the start of 2018. He was also playing well before the injury, and Halapoulivaati Vaitai has mostly struggled in his place. Cap concerns could cause Philly to move on, especially if they do not think he can return to an effective level coming off a serious injury, but the Eagles will likely do their best to keep Peters around for another season.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson said Jason Peters (ACL) is his "starting left tackle."
Peters has already said he will play in 2018, and it sounds like his coach will welcome him back with open arms. "He’s a Pro Bowl left tackle," Pederson said. "Guys like that, in my opinion, in my humble opinion, they can go out when they want to go out." Peters is questionable for training camp after tearing his ACL and MCL in October.

Impending free agent Jason Peters plans to return for another season in 2020.
It's unclear if Peters will be back for a 12th season in Philadelphia—the Eagles drafted his likely successor in 2019 first-rounder Andre Dillard—though the 37-year-old plans to play somewhere in 2020. "I told ‘em I wanted to play another year," said the nine-time Pro Bowler following Sunday's season-ending loss to Seattle. "If I couldn’t get it done, I’d just walk away, but I can still go." Peters made clear he wants to be an Eagle but acknowledged the "nature of the business" could prevent that from happening. The 16-year vet earned PFF's No. 10 pass-blocking grade among tackles this past season.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the Eagles are expected to let LT Jason Peters hit the free agent market.
Peters has been with the Eagles since 2009. He's made nine Pro Bowls throughout his 16-year career and has started at least 13 games in all but three seasons. Age hardly appeared to be an issue in 2019, as Peters finished as PFF's No. 6 overall offensive tackle. Peters will be 39 next January, but figures to demand plenty of attention on the open market.

Eagles re-signed OL Jason Peters to a one-year, $3 million contract.
Another $3 million is available through incentives. Peters is an institution on the blindside in Philadelphia, but he is being brought back to man right guard following the season-ending loss of Brandon Brooks to a torn Achilles' tendon. He also offers a backup plan on second-year pro Andre Dillard at left tackle. Per Peters' agent, he waited out other offers to return to Philadelphia. The fact that he was willing to sign as a guard suggests this is actually true.

Bears signed OT Jason Peters to a one-year contract.
It's an upgrade to an offensive line that looked overmatched in the team's first preseason game. Peters held his own in a move to the interior last year with the Eagles before closing out the season on IR. He'll add insurance for second-round OT Teven Jenkins, who's missed time with a back injury at training camp.
