The day the once proud Razorback basketball team scores 43 points in a GAME, not a half, a GAME, is the day changes need to be made!
Too bad Long doesn't have the guts to do the right thing for the program!

This is how you know it's bad - drove by the Friendly Liquor store on College Ave. today and the sign out front said something like 'go diamond hogs.' They went straight from congrats to the football team to cheering on the baseball team three weeks before the season. I never saw a sign about the basketball team.

its been bad ever since Nolan quit recruiting, I think Pel is making progress with these guys and the incoming recruiting class should help, this team is better to watch that those Stan Heath teams with Brewer and Modica where we would jack up contested 3's all game.

Pel, I'm still with ya.....IMO though that the haters just might win this scrimmage. That said I guess the next post/reply will be to wish Ky Madden well in Ole Miss because that is where he said he will play without Pel, I am thinking I read somewhere that Mickelson said the same thing too. So as we weep we can say that Pel at least had us where we could look to the future with some anticipation of future success in mind. I'm a Rzrbk fan to the end, always have been, so I will still be here in five yrs when we will again have given a coach the time to take us where we think we should be, yet as fans maybe we will get to the point where we understand the concept of FAN SUPPORT!!...IMO Now I'm sure I will see all these poster's coming back and saying....I'm a fan, I'm a fan....well i can't tell.... Go Hoggs

No offense to Rotnei Clarke, but when you're in your fourth season as head coach, and your best player is 6' and white, you might be in trouble. Remember Pel was not the original choice to replace Stan Heath.
Where do we go from here? Generally thinking would be making a run after Mike A, but I'm not sure if he would do a lateral move. We are not the program we were in the 90's, but I believe we should contend for the SEC West each year, and the conference on a regualr basis. Should win a few games in the NCAA too. I think we can get back to where we were, but it takes the right person and the right players.
I'd like to see maybe Mark Few as our next coach. He's built a great program up in Spokane.
Who do y'all think?

It's going to be interesting to see where this goes. I honestly don't have a lot of confidence in Jeff Long. Hope he proves me wrong.
As for Pel needing to go - this team finished 4th in the SEC West. How many SEC West teams made the NCAA Tournament this year? ZERO! That's just sad. The West was so down and they couldn't finish any better than fourth? Whatever.

Few would be a fool to leave Gonzaga.
Mike A has a good reason to leave, it may be a lateral move, but its from a division where you'll always be 2nd or 3rd best to a division you can dominate.

Based on the criteria I saw from Jeff Long, he's probably targeting Tubby Smith.

Lot of people are saying Anderson could be named our coach by Monday.. I doubt it.

Hiring Mike Anderson would be like hooking up with an ex girlfriend. Sure it's energizing but are the 40 Minutes of Hell worth it?

Mike has proven that he can take a program that is down and get them going right and I truly believe he can do that here. What he has not proven is that he can go to that next level. Is it because of where he's been? Maybe, maybe not. Can he take us to that next level? Maybe, maybe not.
