Ronnie Brewer, who is still limited by a severe hamstring injury suffered last season, is in a battle with Kyle Korver for the starting shooting guard job in Chicago.
Brewer had the edge coming into camp because of his defense, but Korver's outside shooting could be a big key for the Bulls. Regardless of who starts, it's likely the pair will play similar minutes, making both of them worth a last-round look in standard fantasy drafts. Brewer's health will likely be a key as to who wins this battle.

Ronnie Brewer (hamstring) practiced on Sunday and plans to play in an exhibition this week.
Brewer is competing for playing time with Kyle Korver and Keith Bogans, but ideally the Bulls' rotation will crystallize in the next few weeks. At the moment he's probably not worth more than a late-round flier.

Ronnie Brewer (hamstring) is relatively healthy and will come off the bench for the Bulls this season.
He'll back up Keith Bogans to start the season, but could end up taking over the job at some point. Neither player is a must-own in fantasy.

Ronnie Brewer is comfortable in a bench role with the Bulls, but he hopes to for the starting SG job. Keith Bogans started every regular season and playoff game for Chicago last year, and they have made no secret of their desire to upgrade at SG. Brewer isn't likely to land the starting gig and his fantasy value is limited as a bench option.

Ronnie Brewer made another start for Luol Deng on Wednesday and torched the Pacers for 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals on 8-of-15 shooting.
News broke earlier on Wednesday that Deng plans on playing Sunday, which could really stifle Brewer's value. Additionally, Rip Hamilton looks like a better add than Brewer, who has yet to prove he can do this consistently.

Ronnie Brewer "could be Minnesota-bound," according to Aggrey Sam of CSN.com.
Brewer doesn't have 3-point range and is a lousy FT shooter, limiting his fantasy appeal, but he could be a nice fit with the Wolves. He's a solid defender and operates best offensively when he's slashing to the basket, something coach Rick Adelman and PGs Ricky Rubio/J.J. Barea should be able to accommodate.

Ronnie Brewer suffered a dislocation to his left ring finger in Monday's game against the Nets.
The X-rays were negative. Brewer was only able to score three points with five boards, one steal and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes. The injury is to his non-shooting hand and it's unclear how long he will be out of the lineup. He is not on the radar in standard leagues.

The Knicks are shopping Ronnie Brewer, sources tell ESPN New York's Jared Zwerling.
Count this among the least surprising deadline rumors. After playing major minutes to start the year, Brewer has completely fallen out of coach Mike Woodson's rotation and had received four straight DNP-CDs before the All-Star break. Woodson said he's considering putting Brewer back into the starting lineup, but that's likely due more to Jason Kidd's terrible play of late. We can't imagine the Knicks would get much for him in a deal and are likely just looking for useful players to improve their bench play.
