The 6-foot-9, 235-pound Washington plays forward and center. The former Arkansas standout was not taken in the NBA draft this summer. During his senior season for the Razorbacks, Washington averaged 12.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 25.3 minutes over 29 games, with 27 starts. The Hornets announced the acquisition of Washington on Monday. Training camp opens on Tuesday.

He failed the physical, so didn't get signed by NO. How can someone expect to be pro athlete and fail a physical? Man, even Oliver Miller passed the physical sometimes...
