Solomon Haile – XC – named the SEC Cross Country Freshman of the Year…won the Arkansas Invitational in September. Cobi Hamilton – FB – had 19 catches for 347 yards and 3 touchdowns in 13 games…returned one kickoff for 50 yards. Ronnie Wingo – FB – had 49 carries for 319 yards and 3 touchdowns in 13 games…caught 5 passes for 99 yards and 1 touchdown. Marshawn Powell – BB - SEC All-Freshman Team…averaged 14.9 points and a team high 6.7 rebounds…started all 32 games. Austin Cook – Golf – named to the All-SEC Freshman Team…fourth on the team with a 74.0 round average…low round of 68…competed in 11 of 12 events. DJ Baxendale – Base – went 0-2 with a 3.58 ERA, 7 saves and 44 strikeouts in 60.1 innings. Zack Cox edged Rotnei Clarke last year |
