Game MVP Gary Ervin of the host Halifax Rainmen recorded his third triple-double of the season to elevate the East team past the West 144-135 in a high-flying all-star game that showcased the PBL’s top players and put the finishing touches on the league’s first all-star weekend.
"It was great fun," said the six-foot-one point guard from Brooklyn, N.Y., after scoring 20 points to go along with 11 rebounds and a game-high 13 assists. "It was a lot of excitement and that’s what you need in an all-star game."
Ervin was also 2nd in the Dunk contest.
