That's also a career high finish for Stacy on the LPGA... She only missed the lead by a single stroke... That first LPGA win is coming soon!

Some post-tourney quotes from Stacy, courtesy of LPGA.COM:
STACY LEWIS
Q: So close. Tell me about the putt on 18.
STACY LEWIS: I actually thought I missed it. It was inside the left edge, and I pulled it just a little bit, but the greens are a little bumpy at the end of the day, so it kind of fell in the left side. I thought Ai's drive was in the fairway; I saw her back there in the fairway, so I was like, ‘Oh, it's over, it's done.' And somebody's like, ‘No, she chipped out.' It's fun to have a chance like that. It's also disappointing to play so well and not win.
Q: Are you a scoreboard watcher at all? Did you see Ai get to -20? What's your thought process there?
STACY LEWIS: I saw when she was at -18, and I didn't see another scoreboard until we got up here to 16, and she fell back to -19. I really didn't know where I stood most of the day. I guess that kind of helped a little bit, just playing my game. If only I could have gotten a few more to fall on the back side.
Q: Talk about how you played these last two days.
STACY LEWIS: I played really well all week. I hit the ball really solid. I finally conquered some of the par-5s I was having trouble with. I played great all week. I think it's just good to build on for the rest of the year.
Q: What did you do well today? What could you have done better?
STACY LEWIS: It's hard to say. I had a couple lipouts - good putts that didn't go in. Honestly, there's not a shot that I would go back and hit a different club or hit a different line again.

Does it surprise anyone I make more posts about Stacy than anyone else, what with her pic as my avatar? The new Rolex Rankings of the top players in women's golf are out... The big news is that South Korea's Ji-Yai Shin knocked Lorena Ochoa out of the top spot before Ochoa could even begin enjoying retirement (Sunday, where she finished 6th, was her last tournament... But, Stacy also moved up 15 spots and is now #33 in the world, easily the highest a former Lady'Back has ever been ranked... Go get 'em, Stacy!

An off week for the LPGA this past weekend, but Stacy still moves up to #32 in the World rankings........ Oh OK, it was only because Lorena Ochoa dropped out of the rankings

Stacy threw out the first pitch at the Pittsburgh Pirates game last night... Unfortunately, it was the only pitch, as the game was rained out...

Stacy will be on Athlete 360 soon too... Here's the broadcast schedule... Not sure why she was doing the first pitch, but hey, publicity is publicity I did like this tweet from @jasonsobel: "Brittany Lincicome threw out first pitch at Pittsburgh Pirates game last month. Stacy Lewis tomorrow night. With their staff? Sign 'em up."
