Is there ANYONE who wouldn't swap either Mississippi game to Little Rock to have LSU in Fayetteville?
I propose to play 1 non conference game and one or the other Mississippi school in Little Rock each year. We have either Ole Miss or Miss State in state each year...just have it one in Little Rock. That would get LSU up on the hill.
For example:
Sept. 4 Tennessee Tech Fayetteville, Ark. Sept. 11 Louisiana-Monroe Little Rock, Ark. Sept. 18 at Georgia* Athens, Ga. Sept. 25 Alabama* Fayetteville, Ark. Oct. 9 Texas A&M (Southwest Classic) Arlington, Texas Oct. 16 at Auburn* Auburn, Ala. Oct. 23 Ole Miss* Little Rock, Ark. Oct. 30 Vanderbilt* Fayetteville, Ark. Nov. 6 at South Carolina* Columbia, S.C. Nov. 13 UTEP Fayetteville, Ark. Nov. 20 at Mississippi State* Starkville, Miss. Nov. 27 LSU* Fayetteville, Ark

LSU is the only SEC football team I've never seen play. Probably never will if something doesn't change.

Dale, I'll let you and Charlie have 2 of our LR tickets next year, drive up there to pick you up and drive you back, provide food and lodging if needed. Row A 19 yrd line.

the student section in Fayettville would be empty b/c the dorms are closed for thanksgiving. I think attendance would be down if we had the game in Fayetteville. Fayetteville is not as loud as LR. Our winning percentage at Fayetteville is not as good as it is in LR.
I know it won't change anyone's mind, just has to be said.

LSU should be played in Fayetteville, at least from time to time. NWA fans deserve to have this game in Fayetteville, not every year, but from time to time.
From terms of revenue, 7,000 empty students seats = $7,000.00. But I think many would show up. If they didn't those seats could be released to the general public and I suspect 50% would be sold at $45.00, haven't done the math, but that's more than $7,000.00.
It's the age old argument, hate to see it even get started, but the argument that students aren't here doesn't hold water, someone else would take their place to see the LSU matchup, suspect you'd see a full house for LSU in Fayetteville.
This really has nothing to do with whether we should have games in L/R or which place is louder, it's about moving the LSU game around to allow folks who have been life long fans (like Dale and Charlie) to see this game.
It's time!

There's no reason that LSU should be in LR every year. Little Rock can have 2 games, I'm fine with that, but the opponents should rotate. With the game being moved from Friday to Saturday, the students are no longer an excuse/problem.
Games will be played on campuses all over the country that day.

dorms are still closed on saturday unless somethings changed. How is our campus different than any other campus around the country? And they play games on the Saturday after Thanksgiving everywhere. We are the only school that moves it off-campus.

dorms are still closed on saturday unless somethings changed. That is a good reason to, if you must, have games in LR that weekend. Think about it, if you were looking at a calender and wondering what weekends would be better to travel for a home game, you would probably pick weekends that most of the student body was out of town. What about not always playing LSU Thanksgiving weekend?

I wonder if the LSU game will start floating to other weekends soon, now that we aren't always playing the day after Thanksgiving... Just a thought, since that tradition has now been broken...
Personally, I expect our game with LSU to be better than Alabama vs. Auburn...
