John Brummett is pretty much a waste to me. But he did have this good line"
"If the SEC was seven-on-seven, we’d be in the hunt."
This serves as a credit, since I will be claiming this line going forth....

I liked this posting from a delusional A&M fan (from another thread):
I keep reading thread after thread about 'why' we lost to Arkansas: they were too fast, we were too small, they had better athletes etc. I find all of those threads to be vastly incorrect.
What I saw Saturday was a very young aggie team that shut down Arkansas on the first 3 drives, we scored on the first 2 and punched them in the mouth with a 10-0 lead.
Then when Arkansas made offensive adjustments and Mallett started hitting his recievers, we looked more confused than anything. It was a classic example of a young team missing assignments and not knowing where to be and when. We were the exact same team when we played UAB, but against the UAB's of the world you didn't notice because we had enough team speed to 'gloss' over our missed assignment mistakes.
Arkansas does not have better athletes, is not physically superior, are not faster than we are, and IMO aren't that great of a football team. All of our 'missed assignments' can and will be corrected.
We are young and our players will only get better. I would not be surprised to see us squeek out a gutsy win this weekend against Okie Lite...and I'll be in the stands yelling my a** off to support a great young Aggie football team.
Um... Missed assignments? Really? For the majority of the game?

Yes, they are delusional. Always have been.
However, I share the Collie's hope that they will play mush better than they did "missing assignments" against us.
