I HOPE for 9, 10 or 11 wins.
My confidence in the improvement of our team leads me to EXPECT 6 or more.
My ability to read the schedule puts MY GOAL for MY TEAM at 7 or 8.
But I've been told I accept mediocrity more than once.
BTW, Charlie - Did you see the windows on the Broyles center at field level?

PSS: Once, I had someone tell me they no longer wanted to listen to my "redneck banterings". Wonder how they would like this guy: jakefreedom.com/?p=679...maybe it was him...

I think the windows looked good. I didn't like them plain, really.
I never think of the season in terms of a # of wins. I expect to win every game. Not realistic but if you ask me on game day if we are going to win I will have convinced myself that we're going to. Only exception I can think of is the USC game in Fayetteville a few years ago.

No matter what my season prediction is, I - too - almost always think we can/will win by gameday eve. Some time back "on another board" I stated that I didn't think we had any chance to beat Florida. One regular poster was aghast, saying "I've NEVER heard you say we won't win!"

I think I treat football like most people do baseball. I really don't follow recruiting and couldn't name 5 newcomers right now. I don't understand looking at the schedule and picking which games I think we will win or lose. I show up on Saturday and expect us to win.
