Narrow minded outlook from the SEC and ESPN.
ESPN gave the SEC a bunch of money b/c it's the best conference in the country. The more people that know about games and teams, and the more people that get excited about players, games, teams, etc.--the more people will WATCH the games on ESPN.

I have been told that part of this was to try and prevent folks from changing their POG picks once they get to the stadium.................................
I agree on the "narrow minded" part. But I'm also trying to fairly weigh it against the ease of an 'alternate' source.
"Did you see that?" "Yeah! Of course I'm watching the game on TV!" "Oh, you should be watching the CliffLee4MVP feed - lots more shots of the cheerleaders!"
