They need to LOWER basketball ticket prices. I'm sure we'll hear that they have to maintain price point integrity or some other revenue stream jargon. I had a big long rant typed, but will just say that there seems to be a disconnect between fans and the basketball program. Access and success create interest in a program. Many people feel they have been priced out of Arkansas basketball. We haven't had much measurable success this decade. There are tons of empty seats. Discount the price and let people in. It will pay dividends in both community support and longterm financial support.

I think this season will be incredibly bad for attendance. Fan apathy, coming off a bad season, only 1 marquee game in BWA, ridiculous ticket prices, plus there is much more excitement around football and baseball.

I think I've decided to not get season tickets. It's hard to justify the donation to get upper deck tickets when seats are alway available. Plus, my second ticket often went unused and many times unsold. I'll probably go to most of the games, but hopefully at less than $25 per game and definitely less than $50.
