Weems has been getting some starts because of an injury. He's giving some quality minutes as well. Last game had 13 points and 32 minutes of floor time.

Sonny Weems had career highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four assists on 7-of-11 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Nets.
Weems had a great night and has been starting, but regular starter DeMar DeRozan is expected back from his ankle injury on Sunday, which is clearly bad news for Weems.

Sonny Weems heated up off the Raptors' bench and hit 9-of-16 shots for a career-high 20 points and nine rebounds in Friday's win.
Weems has scored in double figures in three of his last four games, but with Hedo Turkoglu and Chris Bosh getting healthy, we don't trust him for fantasy owners.

Sonny Weems made another start at shooting guard and hit all eight of his shots on his way to 17 points, five boards, four assists, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer in Wednesday's win.
Wow. He should start at SG the rest of the way, and while he'll rarely be this good, is at least worth keeping a close eye on if you need to add a shooting guard.

Career game for Sonny Weems as Raptors roll As a phalanx of reporters waited for him to towel off before discussing the greatest shooting night of his NBA career, Sonny Weems politely said, "Excuse me" and rifled a towel over their heads towards a clothing bin about 20 metres across the Raptors' locker room.
Of course it went in and he smiled.
"Nine-for-9."
