New American record 9.77 in the second round, and he wasn't pushed at all. Could have been faster.
p.s. Can we bold or start a new list of the ones who have earned a spot?

p.s. Can we bold or start a new list of the ones who have earned a spot? Yeah, we can try to keep up with it on the original list. That list is also not complete, so I'll try to update it with any new information as well.

Gi Gi needed to beat her competitor by 1.5 seconds in the 800m to make the heptathalon. She led and was pulling away down the stretch and let up right at the end. Won by 0.7 seconds and didn't make it.

Super Bowls, NCAA Tournaments, World Series, etc. are all great accomplishments, but so many of our contests are made up games to challenge various combinations of skill sets. Track and weight lifting cut to the core, speed and strength, things man has been measuring since the beginning of time. Can you imagine waking up this morning and realizing,"I ran faster than anyone, EVER"? Out of the billions of people that have walked this Earth, not a single one of them has run faster.
