I recently heard that Jake Dugger has been suspended from the baseball team for the entire fall and part of the spring semester do to a DUI arrest? Is this true?

Well that just sucks!
It's that kind of crap that can pull a team apart and is what we managed to avoid last year. Those kind of distractions can be avoided.

While that is an unfortunate decision for this baseball team, I think DVH should be commended for his actions which signal that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.

Hopefully he won't have to miss too many games.

Kudos to VanHorn. It doesn't matter if you are the best player on the team. If you mess up you pay the price. I have often said, I think that more coaches on the hill should follow his lead.

It's a hard lesson to learn, but I admire DVH for standing his ground. But, I do hope Duggar makes it back.

I have to admire a coach that will stand firm on suspending a student athlete for this type of behavior. Hopefully the team will rally around this athlete and bring him into the fold. If this is the first offense then lets rally around him and get him back on track. The second time shame on him and good luck
